The Rinck x GSL – E. Rinck collection was born from a bold encounter between Rinck’s heritage and the contemporary vision of The Guild of Saint Luke studio. When Valentin Goux presented the rediscovered furniture ensemble to John Whelan, the British designer was immediately captivated by the purity of its lines and the precision of its proportions. He saw in it an opportunity to revisit these historic pieces — not to reproduce them, but to offer a modern reinterpretation that remains faithful to their original spirit.
Each piece serves as both a nod to 1930s Art Deco and an exploration of contemporary materials — wood, metal, lacquer — in a dialogue between past and present.
