Savoir-Faire

Architectural Millwork

Since 1841, Rinck has been designing and delivering bespoke interior fit-out projects for some of the most discerning private and institutional clients, both in France and internationally. This historic expertise is rooted in the French decorative arts tradition and applied to high-end residential, hospitality, heritage and maritime projects.

Interior fit-out encompasses the design, manufacture and installation of fully integrated interiors, where every element — from architectural framework and panelling to built-in furniture and decorative features — is developed specifically for each space. Every project is carried out in close collaboration with architects and interior designers, with particular attention paid to quality of execution and precision in every detail.

Rinck relies on an organisation bringing together nearly one hundred collaborators. Its design offices oversee technical development, production drawings, costing and project coordination. They are based across the Paris region, the Bourg-de-Péage manufacturing site and a New York office, enabling the company to support international projects with close attention to their specific requirements.

Located in the Drôme region of France, Rinck’s joinery and woodworking workshops incorporate their own technical offices and bring together a wide range of specialist crafts, including fine joinery, cabinet-making, architectural woodwork, metal and bronze work, marquetry, leatherwork, gilding and the use of precious materials.

This multi-material approach — combining wood, metal, glass, stone, textiles and bronze — allows Rinck to deliver complex projects through a combination of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary production techniques. This expertise has been recognised by the French Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label.

Often highly confidential, Rinck’s projects span a broad spectrum of sectors and scales. In the private residential sector, the company works on prestigious apartments, hôtels particuliers and large international residences ranging from 2,500 to 3,000 square metres, from the Middle East to the United States and across major European capitals.

In Paris and New York alike — notably on duplex and triplex residences exceeding 600 square metres — Rinck designs bespoke interiors incorporating panelling, dressing rooms, libraries, kitchens and bathrooms, all conceived in perfect continuity with the architecture of the space.

These projects draw upon exceptional craftsmanship and extensive expertise in combining materials such as wood, metal, verre églomisé, lacquer and stone, across a wide range of aesthetics, from classical French styles to contemporary reinterpretations of Art Deco. Certain projects may include several hundred bespoke elements, including doors, lighting fixtures, decorative panels and integrated decorative features, all executed to an exceptionally demanding level of detail.

Within the hospitality and institutional sectors, Rinck delivers complete interior fit-out programmes for prestigious establishments in major international destinations — from Alpine resorts and European capitals to London, Monaco and Paris — where durability, technical precision and aesthetic excellence are essential.

Rinck also undertakes specialised programmes, including VIP spaces for luxury maisons in the Middle East, as well as yachting projects, where the standards of finish expected in high-end residential interiors are applied within particularly demanding technical environments.

This organisation enables Rinck to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and highly complex technical constraints. The new Orient Express, developed for the Accor Group to designs by Maxime d’Angeac, is one such example: Rinck was responsible for the design and manufacture of the bar and restaurant carriages, coordinating around thirty specialist trades within a context imposing strict requirements in terms of weight, safety and vibration resistance.

Drawing on decades of experience in the management of complex projects, Rinck develops solutions tailored to each context while maintaining an uncompromising level of excellence at every scale.
