Every piece is conceived and designed in-house, drawing on Rinck’s heritage while expressing a distinctly contemporary vision.
The Studio designs Rinck’s furniture collections, produced as unique pieces or in limited editions of eight. Tables, seating, cabinets, lighting and distinctive objects form a design language of Rinck’s own, in which proportions, materials, details and finishes are considered as parts of a cohesive whole.
This expertise also extends to fully bespoke pieces created for private clients as part of individual projects. Each design is developed in response to a particular space, purpose or vision, from the first sketch to the finest details, before being entrusted to Rinck’s workshops for production.

Our company – boasting its own production workshops and approaching its second century of operations – brings together many skills specific to French decorative arts. Our multi-material methodology (wood, metal, glass, stone, etc.) and end-to-end process – from the work of the engineering and design department to the installation to the worksite supervision – have earned our clients’ steadfast trust. Each of these fitting and/or furnishing commissions is entirely customized and unique. Each new project is also another chance for us to adapt our savoir-faire to original requirements, improve our working tools, and further hone and broaden our skills to satisfy the needs of our specifiers.
The inspiration for the Rinck x Thevenon collection, imagined by the Rinck design studio, was the amalgamation of a number of the company's archives.
From the cubist wallpaper unearthed in a 1930s magazine to the panel in églomisé glass that Rinck presented at the 1939 New York World Fair’s to the marquetry friezes found on Rinck-crafted desks. A common thread wove it-self around and through these ins-pirations: a determination to make nature a vital unifying theme.
