Rinck at the Monaco Yacht Show, Writing the Sea into the Material

From September 24 to 27, 2025, under the Monaco sun, Rinck unveils Nereus, a furniture capsule designed especially for the Monaco Yacht Show. Inspired by the marine world, these unique pieces play with lines and volumes, evoking the movement of waves and the fluidity of the depths. Every detail tells a fragment of the ocean, and every texture reflects a shimmer of light.

To bring this capsule to life, Rinck has brought together exceptional craftsmanship. Maison Hurel lends its incomparable finesse to delicate embroideries, while Atelier Pictet enhances the transparency and play of light through glass. Together, they compose a symphony where materials and light respond to one another, balancing strength and delicacy.

In parallel, Rinck will also present TRAMES at Monaco — its new collection of finishes developed within its Research Department. Conceived as an ongoing exploration, it is enriched each year with new creations, designed in close collaboration with the house’s designers.

This edition highlights the artistry of relief work and celebrates the mastery of combining diverse crafts. Each sample is conceived by the creative team, then explored, refined, and brought to life in the workshop through the intervention of multiple specialties. In this process, Rinck lets the material take the lead: research evolves organically around the theme of lines and traces.

Some finishes embrace a textile-inspired approach, featuring visible weaves and an almost graphic regularity; others lean toward irregular abrasions, where the material appears to be shaped and marked by the passage of time. Finally, a few creations adopt a more nautical interpretation, with soft, undulating lines that evoke the shifting reflections of water.

Alongside the Nereus capsule and the finishes, the Rinck stand will also showcase some of the most emblematic pieces from its contemporary collections, offering a broader glimpse into the house’s creative universe.

In Monaco, Rinck celebrates the art of material and asserts its identity: creating pieces where tradition and innovation come together to give life to objects of desire, crafted to stand the test of time.
